Artworks

Here are a few of my artworks in oil and nupastel. I currently have three pieces on display in a local exhibition, an Illustration Showcase, at the Health & Justice Building in Provo. The show opening is tonight as part of Provo's monthly gallery stroll and will be on display through February.

I am also putting up a Life Drawing Show at BYU in the Harris Fine Arts Center that will be on display February 16 - 27. It includes drawings from about 25 students who have taken Advanced Figure Drawing VAILL 350R. This is a repeat class which means I can take it however many times I want for credit. This semester is my third time around with figure drawing master, Bob Barrett.

Here are some photos of our new apartment. Our awesome bed where Erin and I sleep, our bathroom where Erin does her hair and I go to the bathroom and our awesome table and red chairs. It's a small one bedroom apartment, but it is perfect for the both of us.

Tamarack

We got married! Wedding pictures will be coming soon, but here are the pictures from our honeymoon, the best honeymoon ever! We drove up to Tamarack Ski Resort in Idaho. It was a long 8 hour drive but totally worth it when we got there. We skied all day Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. It's a small resort but practically private. We even got some nice powder. On Sunday Matt drove me to McCall where I got to see the place his family likes to spend time in the summers. It was the best vacation ever. We didn't want to come back. It's good to be back though. We have a nice place to live, and I get to wake up next to him every morning.

Two Days to Go!!

There are only two days to go until we get married! I'm so excited. There are still a few more things we need to do and plan before the days comes, but for the most part, things are all set and ready to go! Christmas was great. Matt got me some new skiis, and I'll get to try them out on our honeymoon. We are going to Tamarack Resort in Idaho for a 5-day Ski Trip.

Invitations

I took on the project of designing our wedding invitations and announcements, and I loved doing it. Apparently our envelopes came unsealed in the mail though, and several people did not receive the full invite! AHH! Deep Breath. It's ok though. Now that something has gone wrong, I'm definitely more accepting of a slightly less than perfect wedding.

Matt and I decided to have a small dinner the evening of our wedding day. There are so many more people we wanted to invite, but space has restricted us to only a certain number. We will be celebrating with our close family and friends.

I am so excited!

Joke

Adam and Eve had the most perfect marriage in history: Eve never talked about her old boyfriends, and Adam never bragged about his mother's cooking.

First gifts

Matt and I opened some of our first wedding gifts. People are so generous!

Engagement Pictures

Here is one of 532 photos taken for our engagements. Erin ran into a photographer at a wedding expo thing named Tawsha. Tawsha runs her own little photography company with her husband called The Color Blue Photography. Tawsha took Erin and I to Wasatch Pallets where there was a really cool run down factory. Erin and I had a fun time pretending we were Zoolander for a day. Tawsha did a great job and we are excited to send out our invitations with our engagements. Thanks Tawsha.

Engaged

We got engaged Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Eaglewood Golf Course. After a nice round of perfect-weather golf, I found a shiny little ring box in the hole of the 9th green. Matt chose the perfect ring for me. We will be getting married December 30, 2008 in the Bountiful Temple.
