Moab, June 25, 26

Matt and I had a fun opportunity a couple weeks ago to travel down to Moab with the Science Department at BYU. They hosted a trip in Moab for faculty and donors where they dug for dinosaur bones. They wanted to have an artist on hand as well, to teach people how to paint the awesome red rock scenery. I got lucky and got to go! It was a lot of fun, and we would like to make another trip down there again sometime.

"Landscape Arch"

Give Matt credit for this amazing shot.

It rained the night before we got there, and so we got some really great reflection photos. These are taken on the Park Avenue trail.

Bill Whitaker let me borrow his nice plein air setup including the umbrella!
